SpaceWeb

KU-band versus C-band
SpaceWeb is both possible on KU-band and C-band. Our advice is however to use KU-band. KU-band uses a 1.2 meter dish in comparison to C-band which uses 1.8 meter dishes. Advantages of KU-band are the fact that they can generate more power and uses a smaller dish which results in a affordable price in purchase as well as transportation costs. You can compare KU-band versus C-band with Video versus DVD. There’s nothing wrong with using Video but DVD has got the benefits and has become the standard. Nowadays KU-band is even reliable in areas with heavy rain falls.

FlexIP
Our second platform FlexIP-Vipersat is based upon the latest proven technology and has been designed specially for critical communications. With FlexIP we use Comtech Vipersat modems, giving dedicated bandwidth solutions with the unique selling point of dynamic bandwidth allocation on application.
